Sugar Cane

The sugar cane belongs to herbaceas family and it originates from hot climates of the tropical regions. It grows up to 6 meters high and has strong, articulated and fibrous roots.

Around 300 BC, Alexander the Great described the sugar cane as “a reed that produces honey without bees”.
