Dried Fig

    Description

 

The dried fig is rich in vitamins B and C and contains high levels of mineral salts, especially calcium, phosphorus and potassium. It is an excellent energetic food, presenting a high caloric value (274 calories / 100 g). The peculiar value of the fig is associated to this nutritional richness.

After its natural drying process, the fig is removed and it is made a first selection, which consists of separating the fruits according to their size and quality, putting aside the ones that are defective or have parasites.
